Would you be interested in writing about shenanigans at the Buffalo “factory”? I read that recent layoffs affected there as well, which made me curious what if anything is going on there.
I've written five or six articles at Seeking Alpha about the Buffalo factory, uncovering the fact that a series of quiet amendments watered down Tesla's obligations while giving New York State nothing in return, and also noting that Tesla is failing to meet even its watered-down obligations. But, very few New York State politicians appear to have any appetite for holding Tesla accountable for the failures by assessing the fines allowed by the contract or by taking other enforcement steps. It's just all dirty, and I've concluded there's no point in writing much more about it. Bethany McLean wrote more about it at Vanity Fair (and interviewed me in researching the story): https://www.vanityfair.com/news/2019/08/how-elon-musk-gambled-tesla-to-save-solarcity
The Krupski story is a concerning one. He would seem an ideal candidate for whistleblower protection, though I'm uncertain about the nature & scope of such protections in the EU. I'm hoping he emerges from this unscathed.
Omar (@wholemarsblog) appears in the post in conversation with Elon Musk about the "balls to the wall" decision to focus on autonomous driving (the 8/8 reveal) rather than, presumably, the Model 2. Characteristically, in doing so, Omar first celebrates Elon's past alleged genius (betting on electrification in 2003).
Excellent summary of the current sad state of affairs. It's a bad week to be a bag of ketamine!
"It looks like I picked the wrong week to be shitposting while high on Ketamine."
Lawrence nails it! Excellent!
Glad to see you are writing again MS.

Yeah I know you have written articles in the past.
I was just wondering what the present situation was and what if anything Tesla was doing there.
Meanwhile...
Lukasz Krupski, the Tesla whistleblower, is still "at large".
Who knows which regulatory organs received part or all of the 100 GB of very incriminating data?

Two more questions:
When will Semi reach serial production?
What are the technical specifications of Semi?
If by serial production you mean mass production, the answer is never.
The specs promised (but quite evidently not achieved) are on Tesla's web site:

Where’s the text on Omar Qazi?
