Thank you for supporting Ukraine in your first post. With more than a million refugees in our country alone, perhaps we have a higher sense of urgency in this matter.
I know you feel distant from our social-democratic form of government. But right now I'm quite happy that those refugees are treated practically like Germans - with food, housing, education and health care provided for if they cannot sustain themselves.
Long time admirer and vivid reader of all your posts. I hope you never loose the urge to write and share your thoughts. I am glad you found a new home.
I greatly admired your work on Tesla from the very beginning. And your political outlook sounds quite reasonable. But I have to say that making war on a nuclear superpower is not something to be undertaken lightly, no matter how proud the Ukranians may be, nor how aggressive Russia and China may be. America would be better served by adhering to your eminently sensible motto: "Mind your own business!"
Thanks for the kind words. I acknowledge that there are risks to arming the Ukranians, and that many thoughtful people share your view.
As for "mind your own business," the U.S. has not had that luxury in international affairs for more than a century. For better or worse (and for the world at large since WWII, it's been much more better than worse), the U.S. must play a role in world affairs. That we have sometimes misplayed it, or overplayed it, doesn't mean we should not play it at all.
Back in the day, yes The Jimmy Carter days, I found with my future wife Hayden Cello Concerto with Mitsilav Rostropovich, pre Yo Yo Ma, pre internet, pre most everything, but it stuck with me all these years, and though I cannot or do not perform as I did in those days, a stroll down memory lane is as good or even better than a box of chocolate. Try it some day with someone you are close to. As for Elon take away his subsidies and he would be like every other scam artist. Hey give me a GM plant for $30M that costs 3.5B$ to build even i can show you something to sell the market.
I do not like her or her thesis, but CW should stay away from those drugs, she is uber delusional.
Politically you seen like someone reasonable though I'm probably more left than you which is fine. I know Elonically we are on complete opposite side of the spectrum so at some point you'll block me but until then I look forward to reading your thoughts.
grazie e benvenuto
Glad to see you here. I need a dimwit-free reading zone.

Have been following you on Twitter for about 4 years - Please keep up the work on the liar and fraud Elon Musk.
